It's a doubly big day here in the Hoskin household. Not only did I go out and buy an honest to goodness decent coffee maker, but England plays a Euro 2008 qualifying match versus some teeny, tiny little country that I can't even remember the name of.
Though I drink coffee by the tank-load I have never owned a grind-it, brew-it, deliver it via osmosis to my blood system coffee maker. This thing is a piece of furniture and I need to spend half a day cleaning it between each batch of coffee. Who knew coffee could be so time consuming, or caffeinated?
Apparently the Vanguard beta invites are flying out the door. Heck, we even have one to give away. With free beta invites comes great responsibility. We at TenTonHammer.com take that responsibility out behind the local pub and feed it a few pints before delivering it back to its parents' doorstep with a plastic bag of vomit hanging from its ears. Apparently the video that I linked to yesterday was impossible for some of you to see. With that in mind here is a blockbuster that the old-school game players can appreciate. Special hats off to our own stop-animation expert, Darren "The General" Lee who could probably explain just how long it would take to make this film.
Now a call for help. When I had a Windows machine for e-mail I used a product called Cloudmark to control spam. Now that I have a Mac as my mail machine I'm using Spam Sieve, which though it tries, is making a lot of mistakes. My real mail is being flagged as spam and my spam mail is being put in my Inbox. If the staff would stop putting the words Viagara, pr0n and c1Alis in their email to me it would help, but let's be serious, that isn't going to happen. I know our good man Byron on the WoW site is having issues as well. Any Mac users out there with an anti-spam soluion that works?
