Mythic is about to ramp up the war with Dark Age of Camelot’s (DAoC) New Frontiers revamp set to hit Pendragon PTS this Thursday. In a recent post to the DAoC website, Mythic laid out the first part of the update, which will focus on revamping the combat experience in New Frontiers by changing the layout of the land and the functionality of Keep fights and siege mechanics.

The Keep and tower changes will see some towers removed, some moved, and some adjustments to impassable land spots. Other changes are intended to add strategically planning to combat by encouraging players to capture docks and establish a foothold among other things. Other changes to RvR objectives, porting, movement, and boating will also be included in the update to enhance the experience. Of course, these are not etched in stone and your feedback during testing can lead to some changes, so head over and check out the full post for all the details.

The New Frontiers update is expected to hit Pendragon PTS on Thursday, December 11th, 2013.
