With weapon
complete, head to Mineralogist Acadd, found again at the north part of
the Infineum Plateaus.



Acadd will once again draw your attention to the ceremony that is
taking place to summon an infineum golem. She believes that if a golem
that size were to be summoned, there's a chance that Skereca could be
reborn. Skereca was the powerful entity of so long ago whose blood
created the infineum. So, understandably, Acadd wishes you to go to the
ceremony, interrupt it, and kill Skereca if need be.



No small task.



Grab some buds and head over to the summoning area, which is at the
northwest corner of the Infineum plateaus.

Amidst all of the infineum, you'll find an entrance that leads up to
the temple area.



Once there, the objective is to interrupt the ceremony. You
can do so by clicking on the small platform by Priest Hunuva, at the
right of the image below.

At this point you'll want to have your group ready for battle.
 The ceremony will be interrupted, but something unexpected
will happen. Priest Hunuva will first try to counter the interruption,
and Skereca will come alive. Fear not though, although Skereca is a six
dot level 30, you won't have to fight her in golem form.



First, Skereca will rip apart all of the Kronus ritualists. You can
stand idly by and watch that happen. Place bets if you want, but odds
are not in favor of the ritualists.



After Skereca has laid waste to them all, she will turn into spirit
form. At this point you'll be able to speak with her.



Skereca will explain that if the ritual had taken place, she would have
been stuck inside the golem until it was destroyed; something she
wasn't really wanting to happen. She'll realize that although she is
now free of being stuck in the golem, it wasn't your intent to save
her, but rather to prevent her from being summoned at all. You'll tell
her that you were sworn to destroy her if she was summoned.



She'll then tell you a long, but interesting story. To sum it up, she
and her lover had found a way to travel time. While her lover had
wanted to use this knowledge for good, she became consumed by the
thought of the power it could bring. Eventually she found a way to go
back to the day where the gods themselves were created. She wanted to
return there, and prevent it from happening, thus shifting the entire
world into her control. As she was about to perform the ceremony, her
lover showed up, tried to talk her out of it, and failed. A fierce
battle ensued, and she was eventually killed by her own lover. As she
was dying in his arms, he told her that he would build something
beautiful to comemorate her; thus the infineum spires were born.



As luck would have it though, eventually he passed on, and they met in
the afterlife. Skereca will then wish you to return her to him. She
cannot do it herself as there is some sort of curse on her preventing
her from killing herself, so she'll want you to do it, and she'll have
to fight for it as well, since the curse prevents her from standing
idly by, accepting death.



So to cut a long story short, you'll have to kill Skereca's spirit.
She's a 5-dot level 30, but there are no additional creatures to fight
besides her, so your group should be able to take her out fairly easily.



Once she's dead, return to Acadd. You'll tell her the story, and she'll
hand you your writ of membership to the Aghram Archaeology Society, and
send you over to her buddy, Smith Of'barbar, who has figured out how to
create armor out of the infineum.
