Gardens of Xia'Liu

The Gardens of Xia'Liu
(commonly
just called "the Gardens" because no one wants to spell Xia'Liu) serve
as a great training ground for groups on Kojan. The quests can be
started at level 12 and can keep a group busy all the way to level 16
or so. The quests give "young" groups a chance to try their hands are 4
dot and named mobs.

Completing the Gardens
will require
skill and coordination, making it the perfect introduction to the
content to come in Vanguard.
With the Garden's large size, multiple groups can move through it at
once, so it was very crowded back at launch. With the subscriber
population sloping off a little, players are less likely to bump into
others, but it is still a popular questing spot to this day.

This overview will show
you how to
find the Gardens and where the quest givers are along with a brief
description of each quest. The individual quest guides will show you
how to find the mobs and items you need to complete the quests.

Finding the Gardens of Xia'Liu and the Quest Givers

The Gardens are located
on the
northern most island of the continent of Kojan ( href="http://vanguard.tentonhammer.com/modules.php?full=1&set_albumName=album22&id=Kojan_Zoned&op=modload&name=Gallery&file=index&include=view_photo.php">click
here to see the Kojan map) in the chunk named Wildgrowth
Forest. A
dock master can port you into the port of Martok, or you can use the
Riftway located in Wildgrowth Forest. The map below has 4 areas circled:

Warseer Gnoth is in Martok on the southern side of town near all of the
class trainers. The rest of quest givers are located in Gulkar's
Encampment.



If you need faction to safely enter Martok, travel one chunk north and
slay low level Gulgrethor invaders to get yourself in good standing.
