is dead.  Xackaria is in your debt.  He wants to
help, but he just doesn't know how.  He does, however, make
the brilliant suggestion of collecting some of the ore to bring to
Donovan to study.  Why we didn't just do this to begin with
and save ourselves a nasty fight against Fubared, I don't know.
 But it is how the quest progresses.  So ask not,
buck up, put on your game face, and accept the quest.



In order to collect the ore, we'll need one of the special pickaxes the
enthralled slaves use to mine up the ore.  These can be found
on the Infineum Thralls that can be seen mining infineum throughout the
mines.  Look around the pillars of infineum and you should be
able to find one quickly enough.

These little guys
will drop Infineum Ore Pickaxes.  Everyone in your group doing
the quest will need one.  Also note, that these can be
attained at any time; so if you're doing the entire quest from the
start with a group, it may be an idea to kill a few of these before you
do Fubared to give time for them to respawn for the rest of your group.

Axe in hand, head about the mines in search of Infineum nodes.
 They will now be clickable if you have the axe.
 They can be found scattered about the mines.  You'll
need 5 of them to complete the quest.  The easiest way is
simply to invis your group and run around the parameter of the mines.
 If your group splits up to go find their own; chances are
they'll get attacked and die one by one.  So it is usually
best to travel as a group whenever traipsing about the mines.



Once you have your 5 ores, head back to Scholar Donovan and give them
to him.  He will be greatful, but he'll simply tell you he
needs to ponder it all a bit more.  In the meantime, he'll
offer you a choice of cloaks for your reward.  So
congratulations!  The first quest line of Coterie Infineum
Sanctuary is now complete.  You won't be able to continue the
quest line until you are level 21.  But for now, enjoy the
cloak!
