The Cantor is a priest of Eberron
who's song is touched by divinty.  As such, they bring great
benefit to a party for a wide variety of buffs and healing, not only
those of a priest, but that of a bard also.  In combat the cantor
is not a huge help.  Certainly their bardic fascination ability
and cast ability is excellent, but there definitely has to be a damage
dealer of some sort to follow through.



However, outside of direct melee, the Cantor has a lot to offer. 
Looking over the cantor's spell list, one wouldn't think so.. but
remember that the cantor can heal your party, buff your party with
divine bonuses, buff your party with bard song,  damage opponents
with divine magic, damage undead with divine light, provide more spell
points with divine vitality, enchant opponents with both clerical and
bard spells, and fascinate opponents.



The cantor has the flaw of having both the spells of the bard and
cleric classes but only at lower levels.  The cantor is a bit of
an investment, but at levels 15 and 16, really starts to shine, since
they gain access to raise dead (wth a caster level check), otto's
dancing orb, and holy smite, along with other spells.  At that
point the cantor really shines quite a bit.
