The Knife Fighter is a
href="http://ddo.tentonhammer.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid=54">halfling
rogue/fighter multiclass using the rogue's skills with sneak attack and
the halfling skill with thrown weapons to become a deadly killing
machine. The knife fighter does not fight on the front lines..
instead he or she quickly and quietly moves toward the rear of a
combat, and, when allies attack, takes out key opponents quickly and
with deadly precision.
Fighting for the knife fighter
involves a lot of movement. Staying still means a quick
death. Jumping, tumbling, always keeping to the flanks of
opponents, out of their reach, is the key to this warriors fighting
style. While not heavily armor, the knife fighter is very nimble
and hard to hit.
In addition to fighting ability,
this warrior's goal is built to be an excellent
href="http://ddo.tentonhammer.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid=317">scout.
Not aimed
at disarming traps (something one should mention when joining a party),
the knife fighter scouts, notices traps, deals with difficult to reach
locations (being an excellent swimmer and jumper), and deals with key
opponents. While these benefits might be questioned when first
mentioned, a insightful party will realize the knife fighters
advantages quickly.
