Star Trek Online launched the new Advisory Council to mixed reactions from the community. Many people questioned how the council was chosen, feeling a bit shunned as it gave extra voice to certain members of the community over others. To help clarify a few details about the council, Cryptic has posted a new Advisory Council FAQ, explaining more about the council, how they were chosen, and announced that a system will be put in place to allow players to vote future members onto the council.
