The first step to accessing all of the hot new content in Module 3 of
DDO is to complete the Desert Caravan Quest. Right on cue, Darkgolem

There are two ways to access the desert sands. One is to
use an airship
(speak to Zerechi Spirekeeper, at the Airship Tower) for a fee of 2000
platinum each time. The other means is to successfully complete the
Desert Caravan quest.
