Gearing up for EverQuest II Sentinel's Fate content is no easy task and as we have already covered, shard gear is a great way to go if you need high quality upgrades. Come take at look at the Befallen instances and read up on the quests that reward those coveted shards.
Befallen is broken up into three instanced dungeons located in the Commonlands near the Hidden Canyon Station griffon tower. Due to the misuse of the instances that award void shards, it has gotten a little bit more difficult to complete these tasks in these zones but if you are looking to earn shard gear, taking groups through zones like Befallen on a regular basis is still the quickest way.
