name="Dragon">To Speak as a Dragon

This lengthy quest allows you to speak the dragon
tongue.
This language is necessary to receive the Fire and Ice and Deception
quests
from Lord Nagafen.

The start of the Quest involves us to have at least a lvl 50 character
to zone
12 individuals to Maiden's Gulch in Lavastorm. Our goal here is to
defeat a
named Drakota Vyr'drais the Vicious who guards the "Sage of the Ages"
Defeat the Drakota to be able to speak to the sage.

After hailing the Sage, you will recieve a lvl 50 hallmark Quest - "To
Speak as a Dragon"

Our next goal is to venture deep Solusek's Eye and into Nagafen's Lair.
Once
inside ole' Nagafen's Lair, You try hailing Nagafen and he won't
respond to you
because you don't know the language. You will then notice a Giant NPC
who will
talk to you. Speak to him to advance the quest. He will then tell you
to look
for another sage somewhere's in Antonica. ** You MUST have giant
language
completed or else that giant won't respond to you! **

Head to the Oracle Tower
in Antonica and speak to him. He'll explain how complicated the
language is and
it would take you forever to collect all the runes, however, you will
convince
him that you'll be able to do it cuz you're so uber etc.. He then sends
you to

Words of a Feather

This quest starts with the NPC, Turk Whooyip located on the Whisperwind isle
in the Barren Sky (-590, -47, -442).  Turk will ask you to go speak with
another NPC, Polly (-656, +7, -517), who is found up the series of climbing
walls near Turk.  There's basically a little yapping, and a little running
around, this isn't the language quest that we've been used to where we simply
gather mob drops.  Polly will give you a note that you will need to drop
near the cloud transport pad.  It's a small update spot, I got my update at
(-457, -73, -430) right in front of the pad, just at the edge of the isle.
You will return to Turk, who will suggest that you take Polly her favorite
fruit.  These are gathered from pants that spawn on the north end of the
isle.  Take those back to Polly, and after some more chit chat, you return
to Turk for your final exam, and then you are done!  You can now speak
Aviak!

Language of the Dust

This is a level 35 quest that starts in the Steamfont Mountains. You need to head to the Gnomeland Security Headquarters and speak with Lingualogian Roosey (-634, 174, 1092). She can be found inside the last house down the path from the entrance to Gnomeland Security. She gives you the quest "Language of the Dust", this quest will teach you the Kobold language.

You will need to collect 15 Deepearth runes that drop off of Kobolds in Steamfont Mountains. They don't drop as often as one would like, so I suggest doing this in conjunction with some of the other quests in the area.

Learning Faerlie

Unlike most of the other races, where you may purchase a language primer to learn to speak their language, for the Fae of Kelethin, you must do a quest. Its really short and simple, so it really will only take a little bit of your time and is needed for several of the quests in the area.

This quest starts with Miella Maarsitotts (loc 243, 109, 363) next to Jysolin's Pub. She'll send you into the nearby Pub to talk with the locals. You end up looking a bit of a fool as your work on Faerlie pronunciations. Then you'll need to go make a offering to the altar at the base of Tunare's Sapling. Its in the water right up against the base of the tree. Right click and give your offering. Return to Miella and you now know Faerlie!

A Mysterious Red Tome: The Di'Zokian Language

The Rise of Kunark language quests were a done a bit differently. They have been combined with a basic collection quest before you may actually start the quests to learn the languages. Below we've listed the pages that you need to gather and turn in to receive the language quests. The locations are approximate as it seems they spawn in the same immediate area, but the EXACT location varies. It's close enough though that if you make it to the location that we give, that you should be able to turn around in the area and see the page on the ground.

Dreg's Landing Page: (These are found in this general area. This is more of a reference for what part of the map to be on when you do the /waypoint so you can see where it will send you. If you're on the wrong part of the map, you won't see the location!)
a scattered page 5: 329, 55, -507
a scattered page 6: 674, 44, -622
a scattered page 7: 899, 43, -178
a scattered page 8: 126, 70, 212
Highton Pages:
a scattered page 1: 646, 262, -2302
a scattered page 4: 1172, 142, -2518
a scattered page 2: 704, 250, -1925
a scattered page 3: 865, 206, -2096

Turn in the quest and read the book reward given to you. This will give you a quest. "Locate the Legate" - Find Emissary Glochk near the Highton Sokolar post (loc 1125, 151, 1898).
This gives you the quest "Bones, Bones, Everywhere Bones". Kill 15 of the skeletons located just to the southeast
of Glochk. Complete the task and return to Glochk and you can now understand Di'Zokian!

A Mysterious Green Tome: The Froak Language

Collect the pages and turn them in to your trusty collection quest NPC to receive the book and initiate the language quest.

a shuffled page 11: 149, -117, -226
a shuffled page 15: 153, -119, 172

Turn in the quest and read the book reward given to you. This will give you a quest. "Find the Freed Froglok" - Locate Jerome found east of Kylong Plains Sokokar post. He will give you the
quest "Finicky Frogloks": Gather human food items from the building at Omen's Call. These are throughout the building on top of the tables. Return the goodies to Jerome and he will
teach you Froak.

Lake Ruins:
a loose page 9: 436, -101, 767
a loose page 12: 412, -108, 747

Turn in the quest and read the book reward given to you. This will give you a quest. "Find Sethis Kai" - Locate Sethis Kai in the Fens of Nathsar at Sathir's Span (loc -199, -7, 1020). He will
give you the "Feathers for Sethis": Colect 12 feathers from the cocktrice nearby. Return to Sethis and you will now
know Sathirian!
