Return to the TTH Heritage Compendium index!

Minumum level is 25 and you'll eventually need Nektropos Castle access.  At the Thundering

Steppes docks, hail Kerath McMarrin (he's behind the first building on
the left as you enter the docks).  He'd like you to search the
Tower of Vhalen in Antonica (-1300, +39, +48)  for Hrath's
Journal.
.

Once you get the update, return to Kerath, who will send you to Nektulos
Forest.   Just south of the waterfall in the Torrent River ,you should
receive your firstupdate around +460, -3, -1285 [Thanks Aphi of Oggok for the correction!].  Next, head into
Commonlands and the northeasterly ocean.  This update is near the
skeletal remains of a dragon (-865, -150, -990), and some form of
underwater breathing might be helpful.

Take a group along for the next step ifyou're lvl
25-30.  In the Thundering Steppes, head off the WESTERN coast (in
caps because I spent probably an hour searching the eastern coastline),
past the Siren Pyramid, around the triangular shaped islandto the
shipwrecks (+1650, -50, +130). You'll need a group because anenraged
octopus will pop and attack you when you get the update, hehits hard
and can swim faster than you can sprint, so you'll have to kill him if
you can't take the damage.

Next, head to Nektropos Castle in northeast
Nektulos Forest to kill Malthus Everling.  This is a keyed zone
for
which everyone in your group must have access. Access, by far, is
the easy part (see below).  Once you've got a high
twenties-(preferably) low- to mid-thirties full group (make
sure everyone can commit about 3 hours, the castle is a quest in
itself every time you enter), head in.  Explore the castle.
You'll meet up with Alexa, a ghost with a dark past.  She'll agree
to show you the way to the Lord Everling in the basement if you free
her from her torment by killing her 6 sisters.  Each has a bedroom
ina tower, most are triggered spawns by clicking on beds
ordiaries.  There are some surprises along the way, like a level
45^^^ epic mob (DON'T attack, just jump down / run past).
Once you've killed the sisters, Alexa will open up the lower
doors. Work your way down to the basement by heading north, then
left, and kill a caretaker for a key.  From the original room,
make
a right, head into the room and kill a guard captain for his sword
(which you'll place in the wall next to the bookcase to gain basement
access.

Don't click the wine racks, it just spawns more
pesky rats.  In the basement, work your way around.  In a
warehouse room you can find a crate which unlocks the Guise of the
Deceiver heritage quest.  Soon you'll come to Alexa, who instructs
you to look around for secret doors.  Click the candleholders in
the corridor to open up a study (kill these mobs),which unlocks another
area.  Head through here (no need to click the coffins, just green
/ gray mobs).  You'll meet up with Alexa again, who promptly turns
on you.  Kill her and her brother Ollix.  Head down the
corridor, your group will be jumped severaltimes by mid-30s mobs, just
take it slow.

In the next room you'll meet up with Juggernaut
(have all your groupmates examine the book in the same room mid-fight
to
get the quest to kill that very mob).  Everling is inthe next
room.  Buff up, hail him, silence him if you can when he attacks,
and take him out first.  He AEs like crazy, probably around level
37 or so.  You're almost done!

Head to Ruins of Varsoon to kill HrathV'Tol.
You'll find him in the Sorcerer's Workshop (+295, +62) and is
an insta-pop on approach.  Head back to Kerath, who has one
last thought.  Seek out Captain Krieger along the
northeastern coastline in Thundering Steppes (-125, -1050).  He'll
aggro on you, kill him and you're done! Head back to Kerath for your
