This continues our leveling guide from level 60 to 70. This guide is meant to show you the fastest way to level from 60 to level 70. This is from our experience and research and has proved to be very fast, however there is always room for improvement. So if you see spots for tweaks, please send them in!

The easiest way to follow this guide is to alt-tab to it from WoW after completing a batch of quests. You can also print it out and follow it that way, but ink these days is just too expensive.

Level Sixty One to Sixty Three

Zangarmarsh

In Swap rat post collect the following quests and then head south to Cenarion Refuge: "No More Mushrooms!", "Thick Hydra Scales", "News from Zangarmarsh", "There's no Explanation for Fashion", "Menacing Marshfangs" and "Report to Shadow Hunter Denjai".
In Cenarion Refuge grab the "Umbrafen Tribe", "Plants of Zangarmarsh", "Disturbance at Umbrafen Lake", "The Dying Balance" and "A Warm Welcome". Head to Umbrafen Lake just south west of Cenarion Refuge and complete "Thick Hydra Scales", "No More Mushrooms!", and "There's No Explanation for Fashion" by killing the various MOBs in the lake. Then head to the south west corner of the lake to finish "Disturbance at Umbrafen Lake" at 70,80. While there, kill the Steam Pump Overseer to get a quest item that starts "Drain Schematics". Turn and head east along the road, and get to and finish "The Umbrafen Tribe" at 82,83. The named MOB Kataru is in the largest building in the village at 85,90. Head north towards Cenarion Refuge, watching for Boglash along the east side of the road to finish "The Dying Balance". Once in town, turn in all your quests and get the next steps in the chains: "As the Crow Flies" (use the amulet to finish it and start the next quest), "Balance must be Preserved", "A Damp Dark Place", and "Saving the Sporeloks". Then return to Swamprat post and do the same, getting "Searching for Scout Jyoba" and "A Job Undone". Go north out of Swamprat Post and into the Deadmire to finish "Searching for Scout Jyoba" found near 80,36 and then the follow up "Jyoba's Report" by killing the giants in the area.

By the time you hit 62 you can start realistically looking for groups for the Blood Furnace back in the Hellfire Peninsula and the Slave Pens here in the marsh. No matter which you would like to try I suggest you start up the LFG (Looking For Group) tool and set it to find you a group. I would suggest the Blood Furnace first and wait un till you hit 63 before venturing into the Slave Pens but it is your call. Both offer excellent experience and loot rewards.

If you choose to venture into the instances you can find a guide covering all the strategies and tactics needed right here: TenTonHammer's Guide to the Blood Furnace or TenTonHammer's Guide to the Slave Pens.

When done head to the south west edge of the Deadmire (near 76,46) to complete "Menacing Marshfangs" and "A Job Undone". Continue West to 61,41 for complete part of "Balance Must be Preserved". Head back to Swamprat post to turn everything in and get "Nothin Says Lovin' Like a Big Stinger" and then continue south the Cenarion Refuge. Head to Umbrafen Lake
again to finish "A Warm Welcome", two more parts of "Balance Must be Preserved" (at 63,64 and 70,80). From there head north west to 50,41 to complete "Drain Schematics". Continue west to 24,43 to complete "Balance Must be Preserved". You are right next to Zabra'ji so stop in to get the flight point and turn in "Report to Shadow Hunter Denjai" and to get the following quests: "Angling to Beat the Competition", "Stinging the Stingers", "Spirits of the Feralfen", "Burstcap Mushrooms Mon!", "Wanted: Chieftain Mummaki" and "Wanted: Boss Gro'gak". From this point on anytime you see a glowing mushroom you should pick it for a quest (repeatable) that comes later. Circle around the west side of Zabra'jin to complete "Sting the Stingers" and "Burstcap Mushrooms Mon!". Enter town to turn these in and get "The Sharpest Blades", and "Have You Ever Seen One of These?". Head south to the Cenarion Watchpost at 23,66 killing marshfang slicers along the way, and talk to Watcher Leesa'oh there to get "Observing the Sporelings". Complete the observing quest by walking into the Spawning Glen at 14,61. While there talk to Fahssn who will give you "The Sporelings Plight" and "Natural Enemies". Finish both while here, more than once if you want since they are repeatable until you are neutral with Sporeggar. At that point he will give you a quest called "Sporeggar" the talk to Leesa'oh to finish your first quest and get "A Question of Gluttony".

The Spawning Glen is an excellent place to level and gain reputation quickly. As a side bonus you can get several motes of life quickly if you are lucky. There are always lots of giants around to kill and they die fairly quickly.

You should head slightly north to complete "A Question of Gluttony", then turn it in for "Familiar Fungi". Now head north, making sure you go to Sporeggar near 20,50 to complete that quest and get "Glowcap Mushrooms" (see I told you they would come in handy), and "Fertile Spores". Continue to Feralfen Village where you will be able to complete "Wanted: Boss Grog'ak" near 34,34, and "Spirits of Feralfen". Head just east of the village to complete "Nothin Says Lovin' Like a Big Stinger" and then slightly north to collect fungi for "Familiar Fungi". Continue exploring east to complete "Angling to Beat the Completion" around Serpent Lake, then return to Zabra'jin to turn in all your quests. There are several more you could do here, but by this point you are likely a bit past level 62 and ready to move onto the next area. Fly to Swamprat Post and then head south past Cenarion Refuge to complete "A Damp, Dark Place", "Saving the Sporeloks" and "Safeguarding the Watchers" in the cave at 74,92. Return to Cenarion Refuge to turn these in and then head south into Terrokar Forest and to Shattrath City. Once there you should select the faction that you would like to join either Scryers or Aldor and bind yourself to the inn for that faction. Since you are level 63 by now you should use one of the portals back to a main city to train and then hearth back to your inn here.

If by the time you finish your quests in the swamp you are 63 you can start looking for a group for the Underbog, where you can finish the second part of the quest from in the Slave Pens and several quests from Sporeggar. Start looking for a group whenever you feel you are ready and make sure you check out our guide here: TenTonHammer's Guide to the Underbog.

Not sure which faction in Shattrath you should choose? Lucky for you we have a guide all about this topic, check it out here: Scryer vs. Aldor.
