This continues our leveling guide from level 60 to 70. This guide is meant to show you the fastest way to level from 60 to level 70. This is from our experience and research and has proved to be very fast, however there is always room for improvement. So if you see spots for tweaks, please send them in!

The easiest way to follow this guide is to alt-tab to it from WoW after completing a batch of quests. You can also print it out and follow it that way, but ink these days is just too expensive.

Anytime after reaching level 66 you will be high enough level to find a group for the first Caverns of Time instance, Thrall's Escape from Durnholde. This instance is not in the Outlands though, and to get to it you must head back to Tanaris in Azeroth.

If you choose to venture into the instance you can find a guide covering all the strategies and tactics needed right here: TenTonHammer's Guide to the Escape from Durnholde.

The next part of your journey to level 70 will take place in the Blade's Edge Mountains. Head north east in Zangarmarsh to the eastern entrance tunnel at 53,96 to get the quest "Killing the Crawlers". Move through the tunnel getting the required kills and entering the zone, then go north to Thunderlord Stronghold at 50,58. While there turn in the crawlers quest and get the flight point on the upper levels of the town. Then get the quests: "Felling an Ancient Tree" (from the wanted sign), "The Encroaching Wilderness", and "The Bladespire Threat". You can complete "The Encroaching Wilderness" just south of town, then turn it in for "Dust from the Drakes". Head west to the Living grove over the bridge and just south of the Alliance town of Sylvanaar. There you can complete "Dust from the Drakes" and "Felling an Ancient Tree". The ancient paths just south of the Living Grove and can be found around 27, 75. Head down the ramp into the ravine and Bladespire Hold at 40,55 to kill ogres for "The Bladespire Threat". While in the ravine find the Troll head sticking out of the ground near 44,72, and get the quest "They Stole Me Hookah and Me Brews!". You should also receive a dropped item that starts the quest "Thunderlord Clan Artifacts". Run back to town and turn all three completed quests in, and get the follow ups: "The Bloodmaul Ogres" and "Protecting our Own". Head south of town to complete "Protecting Our Own" with the wolves, and then head back into the ravine. In the ravine head south to finish "The Bloodmaul Ogres" and "They Stole Me Hookah and Me Brews!" (The brews drop from the Brewmaster ogres or can be obtained from the kegs, while the Hookah can be found at 42,81). Turn in "They Stole Me Hookah and Me Brews!" to get "Bladespire Kegger" which can be completed easily near 40,55. Turn it in for the next part "Grimnok and Korgaah, I Am For You!". You can find them near 45,80 and 42,46 both at the top of towers. While in Bladespire Hold collect the items for "Thunderlord Clan Artifacts" which can be found at 40,58; 41,52; and 41,46. Turn in "Grimnok and Korgaah, I Am For You!" to the troll to get "A Curse Upon Both of Your Clans!". This is another killing quest in the two ogre camps. Finish it off, turn it in for reward and then head back to town. In town turn in the artifacts to get a simple "Vision Guide" quest and the "The Thunderspike". Head into the cave at the south end of the ravine to find the thunderspike at 42,85. Turn this back in at Thunderlord Stronghold and then head through the mountains to the east to find Mok'Nathal. The path is convoluted as you must travel south from Thunderlord then east, north, east, south, east, and finally south. Just stick to the path though and you will find it. In the end it is almost exactly east from Thunderlord. Once there, make sure you grab the flight point so you will not have to run through the mountains again. In Mok'Nathal get the following quests: "Mok'Nathal Treats", "Understanding the Mok'Nathal", "Silkwing Cocoons", "The Stones of Vekh'nir", "The Totems of my Enemy" and "The Softest Wings". Leave town and finish "The Softest Wings" and "Silkwing Cocoons" just south of town. Go further south and west to Vekh'nir to kill mobs for the crystals for "The Stones of Vekh'nir" and then complete at the circle located near 77,74. Turn the quests back in at town and then head back to Vekh'nir for "Trial and Error" and "Understanding the Mok'Nathal" (Vekh can be found at the back of the cave that starts at 72,70). Turn these back in at town for "Ruuan Weald" and "Since Time Forgotten". Head north west to the Bladespire Outpost (located around 57,55) to finish "Since Time Forgotten" and "The Totems of my Enemy". On the way there and on the way back to town you should keep an eye out for the MOBs for "Mok'Nathal Treats" as they are on the same ridge. When down return to Mok'nathal. Turn in the quests and get "Slay the Brood Mother" and "Spirit Calling". Both of these can be done on Singing Ridge (65,78) to the south west. Make sure you use your totems in the middle of a few nether drakes so that you can get more than 1 spirit per totem. Turn the quests in and then head north west to the ethereal outpost called Razaan's Landing. Head back and forth to complete the next parts in the chain "Gather the Orbs", "Inform Leoroxx" and "There Can be only one Response". Turn in "There Can be only one Response" and then head north west to Ruaan Weald which can be found almost exactly north of Thunderlord Stronghold at 61,40. Make sure you get the flight point while there. Turn in "Ruuan Weald" and get "Poaching from Poachers", "Culling the Wild", "From the Ashes", "Creating the Pendant" and "A Time for Negotiation...". Complete "Poaching from Poachers" and "A Time for Negotiation..." in the area just west and north west of town. Turn them in for the follow ups "...and a Time for Action" and "Whelps of the Wyrmcult". "...and a Time for Action" can be completed in the same general area and then turned in. While working on the above quests you should get a drop that starts the "Did You Get The Note?" quest. Make sure you have it before moving on. When you turn it in you should get "Wyrmskull Watcher". Head north to Veil Ruuan for "Creating the Pendant". Kill the Arakkoa until you get six claws and then use them in the circle at the center of the lake. The drop rate is very low though so be prepared for some grinding. Head north east after this to do "Culling the Wild" around 74,38 and then return to town to turn everything in and getting "Whispers of the Raven God". Turn in "Wyrmskull Watcher" over the bridge to the west. Then get and complete "Longtail is the Lynchpin". She can be found wandering the tunnel, just clear some of the MOBs around her path first or you could get quite a few to deal with. Turn this in to get the next part in the chain "Meeting at the Blackwing Coven" and then head through the tunnel. Head into Grishnath to finish the "Whispers of the Raven God" and to obtain the item drop that starts "The Truth Unorbed". The items for the Raven God quest can be found at 40,18 and 40,23 on the ground and 39,17 and 42,21 in the towers. Find Treebole to the south west to turn in the orb and get "Exorcising the Trees". You can finish this just south of Treebole, and then continue south west to kill coven members to get costume pieces and finish "Meeting at the Blackwing Coven" at 32,37 in the cave. Turn in your quests and get "Maxnar Must Die!" and then head back to Blackwing Coven to finish "Whelps of the Wyrmcult" and "Maxnar Must Die!" in the cave. Run back to Ruaan Weald turning in "Maxnar Must Die!" along the way and "Whelps of the Wyrmcult" once in town. There a few additional quest chains that will open to you at Thunderlord Stronghold now if you wish, however you should be well into level 68 and by this point and can safely head into Netherstorm. You should head to the bridge in the north east corner and then onto Area 52 which is just east of the bridge.

There are many areas in the zone that offer good grinds for experience. The best though are the various ogre camps where there are many mobs in close proximity to each other and the Etherial encampment on the ridge in the east. Both provide great experience, gold, decent drops and large amounts of cloth to be sold.
