Wardens, being the only real pet
class in Runes of Magic, have a distinct advantage over their counter
parts as they can add extra damage with their pet or stay the enemy for
a short period of time. It is important to point out this appears
to be a VERY short time as the health pool of the pet is very small
(perhaps some sunscreen would help?) As you level some of your
skills, both regular and elite, are pet only skills. This
information is very useful since I know of one player who was spamming
a skill trying to figure out why it would not work. Okay it was me,
happy?
Wardens are unique in both lore and
game play to all of the other classes. They are set apart in lore
as the great defenders of the Elven race. Because of this it sets
them up for a one of a kind game play that allows them to wield more
weapons than anybody else in the game giving them versatility in
customization that is lacking with some classes.
While the Warden class can dish out
fair helpings of face melting fun you can also find yourself as a
secondary healer. Rarely or really if your group is desperate
will you ever find yourself as the primary healer but I guess anything
can happen right?
****All information is based off of
available elite skills and general class information. TTH scores
are based on general Runes of Magic information and how they are
perceived to play in the game. Actual game time with the dual class
listed varies greatly. If you have suggestions or updates please feel

Disappointment I could just stop there. There is so much that could be done with the dual class options of the druid that seem to be lacking to me. Now granted I am not a hardcore Druid player but where is the pet? I know the druid is the only pet class available in Runes but there should be a way to enhance the pet just a little bit. The official forums are alive with how many ways your pet is NOT used in end game content. WHAT? The Druid looks to have some interesting options and could only be made more interesting by giving the pet a purpose if you ask me. So play the Druid if you like but, from what I can tell you should be prepared to not use your pet much past the mid game experience for more than just a novelty.
