The Sword of Destiny, the Echoes of Faydwer's new epic quest line, is now available and promises to be a lengthy and rewarding task. It is being released in Chapters which will be updated as they become available.
Note: If you are evil and have heard of rumors about the Koada'Dal language being necessary, it is available later in the quest so don't worry about it now.
To begin your first quest find Sir Groktog a Froglok near the Ruins of Val'marr (316, 238).
Apparently a few Cavalier statues have been captured by evil spirits. Sir Groktog expects you to dispatch them in the name of Marr!

Spirits!
The first spirit is at the First Cavalier Monument east of Sir Groktog (176, 256). When you approach it a 60^ will spawn and need to be killed.
The second spirit is at the Second Cavalier Monument where the Avatar of Flame was defeated. This is Lucan's Mount (4, -724) and a 60^^ Heroic will spawn.
The final spirits can be found at 3 statues near the Freeport Station Griffin tower (-589, -623). They are 3 60 ^ Heroics.
Return to Sir Groktog for some faction and experience. You'll now take the coin he has given you to a special instance of the Crow's Resting Place to continue your quest.
Head to the Down Below, which can be accessed from city zones in Qeynos. Head to the eastern portion of the dungeon near -144, -75 and you'll find a clickable statue. This will zone you inside an instance called Crow's Resting Place, Thieves Guild. Make sure to see Tumpy the bartender if you are evil and pick up your Froglok and Koada'Dal language primers.
Speak to Sir Wolfgang Motte and he'll enlist your help again, this time in Faydwer.

Sir Wolfgang Motte
Go grab a boat and head to Kelethin. If you are evil, there are only a few guards you need to worry about, but be warned they will chase you forever if you draw their attention.
In the southwestern portion of Kelethin, inside Joleena's Restaurant, you'll find Lady Althea Jyleel who will make you answer a few odd questions. She has found something wrong with her rhym (yes I spelled it right) and wants you to grab rhym from 6 different posts throughout the city. Oh and you have 12 minutes so readysetgo!11!!
The rhymposts look like a naked Mr. Hat (if you watch Southpark) or a glowy stick.
Aerie Rhympost - 432, 508 This one is tricky. It's actually underneath the platform you'll probably run to. Head off the lip and look around.
Memorial Rhympost – 322, 320 This one is on the stump. Youl'll have to hop up and run around the edge to get it, so don't waste your time trying to hop and harvest.
Courthouse Rhympost – 377, 174 Behind the Courthouse.
Library Rhympost – 130, 187 Right behind the Library
Bough Rhympost – 177, 61 Near the Library one, walk out on the branch to the very tip.
Lift Rhympost – 42, 85 Behind the building near the lift.
If you did it in 12 mins or less, head back to Althea. If you didn't umm…head back to Althea and try again.
Now you have to find the Gully of the Ursa Rhym in Greater Faydark. Head towards 621, -234 and examine all the objects you see there.
Now off to Steamfont to find the crazy Inspector Berlok in Gnomeland Security Headquarters. He is totally nuts but if you stick to the topics about his youth, you'll eventually get to what he's looking for. He's going to send you to Felwithe to find his three books and you'll unveil the mystery of….*drum roll* the Investigation skill!!! It sounded more exciting in my head.
Yay for subquests! You get to do one for each book!
Time to head to Tunaria (Felwithe) and find the Hall of Truth. A shield on the wall at -310, -859 will begin the quest.
You'll need to kill Tunarian guards until you have 5 coins, kill sentries of rightousness until you have 4 hazes of Koda'Vie, and collect 12 koada blooms.
Next you'll head to the bonfire for a good ol' fashioned spell mixin'. Around -395, -830 you'll find a fire that you can clicky and use your ingredients. This will spawn General Jyleel who you'll need to speak with to finish the quest.
You'll need to find the book around -349, -842, it's been reported to be in different locations. Examine the incomplete manuscript in order to start a collection quest. Run round and round the big oak tree until you have all six pages and voila! The only crappy part is you'll have to return home like a regular collection quest to get your reward.
This starts with a clickabel chest which you'll find in the water near -189, -919. You'll need to quench the thirst of Purity and Devotion, but how?
Quenching Devotion
Pick up an empty urn near -225, 705 and inspect it for another sub quest.
Sub-Sub Quest The Capture of the Living Flow (confused yet?)
You'll need to kill water spirits until you get 3 uncommon updates. You'll receive a filled urn for it.
Ok, now for the fun part. Grab another empty Urn and do it again. When you've filled both take them to the Urn of Devotion -128, -778 and clicky to dump them in.
Get to more empty urns and fill them. Return the Urn of Devotion and you're done with this step.
Quenching Purity
This is going to sound kind of familiar. First grab an empty urn...
Yeah, fill two and take it to the Urn of Purity at -129, -956.
Repeat this once more and you are all done!
Return to the chest and clicky for your reward.
Glad you are done? Me too. Head back to Berlok and he'll reward you with the Investigation skill. Head back to the Gully of the Ursa Rhym to use this handy dandy new skill on the evidence you see. You'll get a book called The Case of the Ursa Rhym so make sure to read it.
Next head to Butcherblock Mountains towards the Broken Fields (-455, 458) and search for 6 more clues to this mystery. When you've found them all, head towards Chypp the rat at -355, 387. Next you'll make your way to the Wailing Caves in the Commonlands towards the Ree Orc storerooms and find 6 more clues. You'll also need to find expedition evidence in the Iskar's room (-118, -55).
You'll need to Kill Lord Ree in the back of Wailing Caves. There is a book in his room which you'll need to examine, and will also spawn some joyful 60ish heroics to beat on you. Kill them, kill them all.
You'll now need to head back to Chypp and ask for his glass eye necklace. Take the bear attack route and you'll be ok with him.
Finally, return to Lady Alethea in Kelethin for your reward, and pat yourself on the back.
