"The Fastest Path to 60!"
This part of our guide focuses on completing level 26 and a little bit of 27. This section takes place back to the north in Ashenvale and the Stonetalon Mountains. You work through a bunch of quests that require quite a bit of killing so you shouldn't have to grind almost at all, but that shouldn't stop you from doing it to speed up your leveling. If at any point you are ahead of the guide you can skip whichever quests do not have rewards you want, although I would still suggest doing them for the experience reward (unless you are so far ahead that they are gray to you).

From Thunderbluff fly to Splintertree Post in Ashenvale. Once there collect all the quests available which should include "Ashenvale Outrunners", "Satyr Horns", "Ashenvale Hunt", and "Stonetalon Standstill".The "Ashenvale Hunt" should be completed as you move between other quests in the zone. The MOBs for it can be found here: 39,66 (Ursangous), 55,54 (Shadumbra), and 71,70 (Sharptalon).
Just south of Splintertree Post you can find Sharptalon which will drop an item that starts "Sharptalon's Claw". He is a level 31 MOB but can easily be killed at this level, by engaging him and running towards the guards back at town. They will help you finish him off.
South of town across the road you can find the "Ashenvale Outrunners", however they are stealthed so you need to wander and either spot them or allow them to spot you and attack. Head west through the forest to the next road running south and find "Torek's Assault" near 68,75 and complete it in the same area. Go north west to roughly 60,50 to find the Dryads that will drop a phial for "The Sacred Flame" quest. While here you can also complete "Ordanus" but be prepared for the fact that you may die. He can be found at the top of the tree building at 61,52. Fight your way up to him clearing everything and then engage him and his guards. Concentrate just on him to drop him quickly, grab his head once you have and then run or jump off the building. Head south west to roughly 44,70 to complete "Stonetalon Standstill". While there kill Tideress to get the quest "The Befouled Element". Move east to find the moonwell at 59,74 and fill the phial to complete "The Sacred Flame" and then return to Splintertree Post and turn in all your quests. From here you can fly to the Zoram Strand and get the remaining quests there, then travel east to complete "Troll Charm" and "Between a Rock and a Thistlefur" at 38,30 and 31,44 respectively. Turn them in back at Zoram Strand and then fly back to Splintertree Post and ensure you get "Destroy the Legion". Follow the road north east from town to find the ruins occupied by the Satyrs for "Satyr Horns" around 80, 50. Cross the road to the south and keep going south until you find the MOBs for "Destroy the Legion". Grind MOBs until you get the item that starts "Diabolical Plans". Return to Splintertree Post and turn in your quests. By this point you should be about 1/4 into level 27. If you are not I suggest grinding at either the Satyr or Demon locations before flying back to the Stonetalon Mountains to turn in "Ordanus". While there you are now a high enough level to take on the "Bloodfury Bloodline" quest in the Charred Vale. Once you have killed the rippers along the west edge of the vale turn it in in town. Fly back to Thunder Bluff to turn in "The Sacred Flame" and get the second part of the chain, which is once again called "The Sacred Flame".
