Q:
Is the world
seamless or separated into zones?
A: The world is separated into zones, or regions. Some of
the regions are
quite large though, covering many square kilometers.
Links:
Q:
What kind of
variety is there in the regions?
A: There are regions of all kinds; snowy regions, desert
regions,
mountains, swamps, plains, highlands and lowlands.

Q:
In what setting
does the game take place?
A: The game takes place in Hyboria, which is a fictional
representation of
earth in the year 10,000 B.C. It is low-fantasy, meaning you
won’t be playing
as an elf or fairy. Conan is the King of Aquilona at this time.

Q:
What kind of
travel is available?
A: You can travel between regions by foot, boat, and mount.
Depending on
where you are and where you’re travelling to, some of the
options may not be
available.

Q:
How static are the
computer controlled characters?
A: The NPCs in “Age of Conan” have been
programmed with a “needs based”
artificial intelligence. They will need to eat, sleep, and defend
themselves
like all other inhabitants of Hyboria. You will see them going to bed
at night,
or defending themselves against an attack.
