NCsoft announced at a press conference prior to G-Star today that they are developing a third title in the Lineage saga with Lineage Eternal: Twilight Resistance. MMO Culture caught the story from Korean website Thisisgame.com and has posted a few images of the new title.

Gameplay is said to be more action-oriented and allow more interaction with objects and from the screenshots the view appears to be isometric much like the Diablo series. Some of the examples given of object interaction in Lineage Eternal range from using a hook to help cross a bridge or even stepping on an ally to help climb a castle wall. According to the report, there are currently three classes announced – Warrior, Mage and Elemental Archer.

Lineage Eternal is expected to begin closed beta sometime next year. The debut trailer is expected soon, so stay tuned and we’ll update you with any new details.
