Funcom released a press announcement recently that so far, 400,000 gamers have signed up for its self-described "savage, sexy and brutal MMO". VP of marketing for Funcom, Morten Larssen also said, "If the information we have is correct, the initial sales represent the highest pre-order number for any global launch of an original PC game ever, including the original World of Warcraft launch."
