With all the talk about game addiction and Internet addicts circulating across the web, it was only a matter of time before someone cashed in on this cash cow. That's right, we have an Internet addiction detox program courtesy of Heavensfield Retreat Center in Fall City, WA. For the extra low price of $14,500, this program can save you from that evil Internet and those pesky virtual worlds through a 45 day program of Internet detox. I guess it's kind of ironic that they offer a virtual tour on their website. According to King 5 News, the first patient of the program was a 19-year old World of Warcraft addict who apparently decided WoW was more important than school. Who hasn't faced that dilemma? The center's site features a lot of videos that do their best to show how evil and addictive gaming is. However, gaming is like any other activity, it only becomes harmful if you let it. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a raid to get to.
