AdventureQuest Worlds (AQW) is kicking off its Halloween festivities today with a new song from One-Eyed Doll lead singer, Kimberly. But music isn't the only part of the festivities; AQW players will also come themselves in the middle of a new war. A Vampire Lord is amassing an army this Halloween with the intention of causing some carnage and leveling the player's home town.

The war will be a world event and players will fight cooperatively to defeat the Vampire Lord's army of monsters and goblins. A war meter will keep track of the number of enemies defeated during the event and give a visual indicator of how the war is going. However, if players fail to defeat the enemies in time, there will be game changing consequences.

Graveyard skeletons and candy-crazed ghouls are the least of the players’ problems. A Vampire Lord is gathering an army of monsters and goblins set to destroy the players’ home town this Halloween. Wars in AQWorlds are server-wide events. All players battle cooperatively to defeat monsters and a war meter keeps track of the total number of monsters defeated. If the players fail to defeat the monsters in time, the players will lose and there will be dire consequences… this weekend, their home town could be sucked into the mist realm for an entire year.

Check out the official press release for more event details.
