Age of Conan Hyborian Adventures Game Director, Craig Morrison posted a new 'Letter from the Game Director' today detailing the coming veteran reward system and new guild changes. Veteran items, set to go live with the next update, will give veteran players access to special vendors who will offer them a host of veteran benefits ranging from social status items, special items, and more. Items such as exp potions can be acquired from such vendors. However, this isn't the juicy part. The new guild renown system will let players level up their guilds reputation in valor, glory, or artisan points to earn more items.

People like to claim bragging rights, and the Renown ranking system will allow players to see how their guild has compared to others both on the overall Renown earned and also in each individual category. You will be able to see which guild has accrued the most Valor, Glory, or Artisan points in any given period.
