Quite possibily the smoothest expansion pack launch I've ever witnessed, ArenaNet turned on their servers at 8:00am BST (midnight PST) and I not only logged in instantly, but have yet to see a single person who couldn't. Quite remarkable (unless no one bought the expansion pack!).
Alongside the launch of their first expansion pack, ArenaNet have also released a pretty awesome infographic containing some silly but fun statistics as well as revealing that 7 million accounts have now been made for Guild Wars 2. I also find it absolutely amazing that 40% of the playerbase joined starter zones to welcome new players when the game launched as Free to Play. I think that's a huge testament to the quality of the community and the willingness of the players to see Guild Wars 2 succeed. Take a look below!
