New MMOG Magazine to hit newstands in May
Beckett Publishing, primarily known for their collectable magazines, announced it will publish an MMOG magazine scheduled to hit stores in late May, according to GamaSutra.
Scheduled for the end of May, the first issue will feature interviews, instance maps, questing guides, and articles on players interaction with various games, and will include input from Beckett Media as well as industry professionals and gamers.
I'm guessing PC Gamer's decision to remove gold ads in January created an ad/revenue vacuum for prospective mags. If there's one thing the media industry abhors, it's a vacuum.
