Do you think that you would make a good representative for The Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO) community? Do you know another player that might? Now is your chance to add your name or the name of another worthy player to the pool to join LOTRO’s Player Council.

Turbine is now accepting applications and nominees for the next iteration of LOTRO’s Player Council. The new council of 30-50 players will be selected by Turbine from the pool of eligible players or Turbine may offer outstanding players the chance to serve.

Not unlike EVE Online’s Council of Stellar Management, members of the LOTRO Player’s Council will have to agree to an NDA and will participate in developer discussions via Skype or other communication methods, providing the LOTRO team with feedback as needed, take part in Palantir Preview programs, provide suggestions and feedback for goals set for the council, and more. Council members may also be invited to participate in face to face meeting with the Turbine team at a location to be named later.

Sound like your kind of thing? Head over to the LOTRO website to get all the submission or nominee details, requirements, and a lengthy FAQ to answer any additional questions about the program. Turbine will reveal LOTRO's new Player's Council on Thursday, April 24th, 2014.
