Beta Begins for EverQuest II: Scars of the Awakened

Game Update 66: Scars of the Awakened is scheduled to launch for EverQuest II (EQII) later this month. But before the update goes live there’s testing to be done and bugs to be squashed. Beta for the Scars of the Awakened update opened today and SOE is calling on players to copy their characters on the beta server and help test out the latest update.

The update will feature new story and areas to explore such as the Siren’s Grotto dungeon and the new overland zone of Cobalt Scar. There will also be new tradeskill quests and recipes along with a number of class updates and PvP rewards.
