If you missed the first chance to get your hands on the Black Spindle another one has just arrived. The Lost to Light mission has been made the heroic mission of the day, today September 30th. To get the exotic weapon you'll need to follow our complete instructions to the hidden quest in our Black Spindle Guide.
The process involves partially completing the original mission and then taking a secret entrance to a secret quest that has the player racing against time to kill a whole bunch of enemies and eventually a big bad boss at the end. If you complete it in time you'll be rewarded with the exotic sniper rifle.
It should also be noted that the mission can be re-run once with each of your characters. If you've got 3 characters that can pull it off, you can get your hands on 3 Black Spindles!
The Black Spindle was one of the first secret exotic weapons to be discovered in the Taken King, and Bungie says there's still more to be found so keep your eyes and ears open.
