Them's fightin' words!

Chinese CEO William Ding takes PvP into the board room, saying that Netease has what it takes to compete in China, and Blizzard (of World of Warcraft fame, et al) doesn't.

Netease (Nasdaq: NTES) knows China better than competitor Blizzard, reports Shanghai Securities News quoting Netease CEO William Ding after the company reported its first quarter financial results on Thursday. Ding said Netease' success in the Chinese online game market is enhanced by its skill at attracting Chinese consumers with traditional Chinese culture. Ding also said that Netease develops online games strictly targeting Chinese gamers while Blizzard's online game World of Warcraft broadly targets the international gaming market.

Ding's efforts could be aided by the fact that whenever he's introduced to a room full of MMO gamers, they reflexively say "Gratz!"
