After yesterdays news that Blizzard had trademarked the name The Dark Below, speculation ensued as to what it eluded to. Today a new teaser site has been discovered that indicates that that particular name does not relate to Diablo III, but that doesnt mean that there isnt an expansion. In fact, Blizzard indicated during a recent earnings call that an announcement at gamescom next week would capture the attention of the Heavens, Burning Hells and all the shadowed places that lie between.
Enter the new Reaper of Souls teaser site. While the site doesnt reveal much about what the Reaper of Souls is, it does contain a singular quote from the Book of Tyrael Death, at last, shall spread its wings over all. Unfortunately, the Book of Tyrael doesnt release until October, so theres no context to put the quote into at the moment. Stay tuned and well bring you more following the reveal at gamescom on August 21st.
