Blizzard Entertainment will be holding BlizzCon 2010 from October 22nd-23rd this year, but many people have been wondering what the developer could have up its sleeve to make the event interesting. With StarCraft II well into its launch and World of Warcraft: Cataclysm details already flooding the web it doesn't seem like there is a lot left by way of big announcements. Enter Diablo III.
Speaking at this year's Gamecom, Diablo III Game Director Jay Wilson made a statement to G4TV that "this Blizzcon, in terms of Diablo news, will be the biggest one that we've ever had." While Jay didn't go into detail on what exactly he was referring to, it does offer the possibility that we might get some big Diablo III surprises at BlizzCon.
