Books, Customization, Servers, and Other D&D Games

From Sporkfire:

From Sporkfire:

On books - "For launch, if you want to make plans based on the books, stick to the Core Rules. That's probably ambitious enough and should give you plenty to do. We'll think about complicating things with supplements later" A good set of character customization options - but no body scaling. Regarding servers - the expectation of 1000 concurrent users per server holds, and queues will be avoided.

From Samera:

No conflicts to be had between other D&D games. "Were not expecting this game to have any impact on DDO one way or the other. It's a different genre of game (RTS vs. MMORPG) and it's being made by a different company. If anything, getting the Eberron name out there certainly won't hurt us."
