The EVE Online community is well-known for its generosity when it comes to disaster aid. In the past, EVE players have generously donated tens of thousands of dollars to the PLEX for Good campaigns held by CCP to aid various countries following disasters such as the monsoonal flooding of Pakistan, the Haiti earthquake disaster, and the earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan that was made far worse by the resulting issues at a nuclear power plant.
CCP is once again calling on its community of capsuleers to donate in a new PLEX for Good campaign to aid in Philippine relief efforts in the wake of the disaster left in the wake of Typhoon Haiyan. Starting today and continuing through Saturday, December 7th, 2013, players can donate their PLEX to the campaign. For each PLEX donated during that period, CCP will contribute $15 to the Icelandic Red Cross to help fund relief efforts in the Philippines.
To contribute to the cause, just follow these steps:
Contract one or more PLEX to the "CCP PLEX for GOOD" character on a 14 day item exchange contract.
Contracts will be accepted within 24 hours of submission, though usually sooner than that.Please ensure the receiving character is the one named above, and double check the character is in the C C P Corporation to avoid contracting PLEX to the incorrect character. CCP cannot guarantee the return of PLEX contracted to the wrong character.

CCP will also be giving you a little something extra for your generosity.
As a gesture of thanks, for each PLEX you donate CCP will give you two virtual in-game Sisters of EVE Food Relief 'Humanitarian' T-shirt YC115 t-shirts (one male and one female) for use in EVE to show your support for PLEX for GOOD. These t-shirts are currently being designed, and will be distributed on Tuesday, December 10th.
You can also expect another blog from CCP Bro on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 that CCP hopes will make this the most successful donation drive thus far. So keep your eyes peeled for that one.
