<p>A Chinese couple has been busted for selling their children to help fund their online gaming habits.

Stupidity and ignorance just runs too deep with some people and that at times helps fuel the stereotypical fires against gamers as a whole. Today's story is a big one that will leave you pondering just how deep the idiocy can run. Video Gamer recently picked up on a story translated by ABC in which a Chinese couple, Li Lin and Li Juan, had three children and sold each one to help fund their online gaming habits. What those games were have not been revealed, but forgetting for the moment that doing this was transparently stupid, the two claimed to be unaware that what they were doing was illegal. Really?

The couple was turned in to authorities by Li Lin's mother after she found out what the two had done. Li Lin and Li Juan reportedly sold their baby girl for an estimated $500 and their two boys for roughly $4600 each. When asked if they missed their children, the two hollow-headed parents responded, "We don’t want to raise them, we just want to sell them for some money."

What more really needs to be said than that? By all means, share your thoughts below.
