The Praetorian War in City of Heroes is headed for its dramatic conclusion. The storyline has already claimed two the lives of two of the games best-known characters and the latest next update goes into darker territory. Issue 23: Where Shadows Lie will take players into the dark realm of magic to face new mythical creatures and undead enemies in the new Night Ward zone. Players can also experience the conclusion to the Praetorian War and face off against Emperor Cole in the Magisterium Incarnate Trial.
Issue 23: Where Shadows Lie also includes additional quality of life improvements such as improved free player chat & grouping and easy portal travel. VIPs also get some love with more content that includes new costume sets, new Incarnate Powers and Signature Story Arc Series 2: Pandoras Box.
