Dawntide developer Working as Intended today announced that Dawntides beta will come to a close on December 19th and the servers will be wiped to make way for a newly redesigned world. According to the announcement on the Dawntide website, the game will be down for 1-2 months as the new world design is implemented. In the meantime, the devs are urging players to have some fun until the 19th and have enabled PvP in all areas except around starter towns, accelerated XP gains and made it so items will remain with players after death. The changes are only enabled through December 19th when the servers will close and be wiped for the new build, so enjoy it while you can.
