In what is sure to be a disappointment to many players there are issues with character creation and Death Knights. While the patch notes say that you can create a Death Knight anywhere, it is not fully implemented.
Death Knight creation is currently limited to only realms in which players already have a level 55+ character. For more information visits the World of Warcraft forums here.
