Bungie promised a more difficult challenge from the King's Fall raid and the first of those challenges went live today. Each raid challenge is initially a mystery and is left to players to figure out how to complete the specific tasks for the challenge rewards. The Warpriests secret challenge was figured out in short order, and it turns out it's pretty simple.
To complete the Warpriest challenge, all you have to do is defeat him without having one person hold the aura more than once. That's it, when you've taken him down the rewards will be all yours.
Of course there are also some tweaks to the fight as a whole. Tougher enemies will be spawning, and more frequently.
Initial reports from players are that it's not a whole lot different from the original hard mode fight, and can be easily completed for top notch rewards, including some 320 artifacts and weapons. Future raid challenges will be swapped into the game during the weekly reset on Tuesdays.
