The Dota 2 overhaul is getting closer to full release with this latest major update.

With all the talk about the International tournament buzzing around, it can be easy to forget about the major Dota 2 expansion currently in it's testing phase. Dota 2 Reborn brings a whole load of new features and functionality to the game as well as Hud and other aesthetical improvements.

The latest update to Dota 2 Reborn has just gone live and is one of the largest patches yet. The highlight of the patch is the addition of the ranked playlist to the beta.

With today’s update, we’ve enabled Ranked Matchmaking in the Dota 2 Reborn beta. You can now complete Compendium Challenges as well, and doing so in the Reborn beta gives you 50% more coins. While we were at it, we also imported a number of items, including everything from the recently released Immortal Treasure III. Plus, we’ve made a number of other improvements and fixed long list of bugs, which you can check out on our beta updates page. Don’t forget to send us your feedback as you explore the beta.

That's not where the update stops though, the list goes on and on. For the patch notes in their entireity, you can check out the official updates page.
