DUST 514 Deploys Update 1.7

<p><em>EVE’s </em>shooter tie-in gets a Faction Warfare overhaul, weapon and vehicle balances changes, and volcanic mood in new update.</p>

Today is patch day several online worlds, one of which is DUST 514. Update 1.7 rolled out today to add friendly fire, Loyalty Points and Standings as part of the new Faction Warfare overhaul to better integrate the system with EVE Online. Additionally, the update also includes several balance changes to weapons and vehicles.

One other bit included in the update is the new volcanic mood, which is part of CCP’s work to expand the battlefield of DUST 514 by adding “ash-choked skies, volcanoes in the distance and ash falling on the battlefield.” Additional update details are available on the DUST 514 website.
