EA Launches Browser-Based Lord of Ultima MMOG

Few names in gaming have been around as long and gained as much renown as the Ultima series and EA has found another way to cash in on the franchise with the recent launch of their free-to-play, browser-based strategy MMOG, Lord of Ultima. The game features deep strategic gameplay and multiple social features that include an advanced trading system, alliance features, and online chat. The game was developed by EA’s Phenomic Studio and the game's creator, Volker Wertich, is the mind behind the Settlers. While it's not the next major game in the MMOG genre, it should provide some fun for Ultima and strategy game fans.
