Play games and learn stuff. Who'd have thought?

The University of North Carolina Greensboro is now offering their Economics 201 course in the format of an online game.

Our online Economics course is just one in our constellation of online courses. Each and every one is highly interactive, highly involving and highly effective. So you learn better and faster - and have fun at the same time…

Course content is presented through problem-solving tasks that are part of the overarching game narrative. Students can register for ECON 201 even if they are not enrolled at UNC Greensboro. The course fulfills three credit-hours in the social sciences - a core requirement for most college and university degree programs. Students experience course content and see the immediate consequences of the decisions they make.
