Elder Scrolls Online Drops Starter Islands

The Elder Scrolls Online has seen some some changes to its starter islands, read on to find out what.

Well this is interesting although not unsurprising. As spied by an eagle eyed individual

over on Reddit, it seems that Zenimax have made some changes to the starter islands.

Amongst the update are the following changes:

Collision detection with NPCs has been added
You can now skip the starter islands and go straight to the first city in your area. You can port back to starter islands if you want.
Mob difficulty increase slightly starting at level 5.
Class balance has been undertaken for abilities
Line of sight improvements

From my own perspective, this is a good and bad thing. It's acknowledgement from Zenimax that their starting experience is poor but it's also positive that they're willing to allow those more experienced to bypass it all together. Collision detection is also more than welcome, though from my experience in Warhammer Online it does tend to eat up the processing power of ones PC. Either way, these are all great changes.
