If you're curious to know what SOE has in store for EverQuest II (EQII) in 2011, Producer Dave SmokeJumper Georgeson has revealed some new information that will make any EQII fan giddy. In his "Letter from the Producer" for April, Georgeson outlined some of the future content plans with a bit of a wide stroke to give players a glimpse at what the team has in store.
Georgeson states that the Destiny of Velious expansion will be the biggest and best that the team has ever made and vows that new content will be released regularly that will continue to tell the story of the "Age's End Prophecy" saga.
The Ages End story gets really big before its done and its going to take us a good chunk of time to tell it all, but well do so by releasing chapters of it every few months and building the story a bit at a time. Velious is a big place, and so is this story. Itll be a good ride.
Some other things that the letter notes to look for are the return of the gods of Norrath, gameplay improvements, and some new "outside the box" features.
