We’ve speculated for months that it would happen and today SOE boss John Smedley confirmed it. EverQuest Next is headed to the PlayStation 4. In his latest Reddit AMA, Smedley answered questions about the recent MMOG closure announcements and the future of SOE.
Yes, we will absolutely be bringing EQN to the Playstation 4!”
EverQuest Next will be another in the growing line of free-to-play MMORPGs on the PS4.
Smedley also had a little something special for fans of the cancelled Star Wars Galaxies MMOG. One of his first responses on Reddit may perk the brow of any Galaxies' fans. Redditor Cranks0 asked, “If you could relaunch a shutdown title which one would you pick and what would you do differently this time?”
