Halloween is great for planning spooky events and this more than any other time of the year lends itself well to creepy events in online games. Nexon is using the popular season of ghosts and hauntings to introduce the new Fall Fear Festival to Vindictus. The event is currently underway and will run through November 20th, 2010. The town of Cohen has been decorated with festive banners and Jack-o-Lanterns and new quests have been added throughout the game that includes vampires and an assortment of fun loot.
The town is not the only area in Vindictus that has been overrun with the Halloween spirit. Vampires that lurk in Ainle have been spotted wearing Jack-o-Lantern masks and mercenaries have reported that flying Jack-o-Lanterns attack furiously in various dungeons.
