There are a couple of big news items out of Fallen Earth today. Update 1.5 is scheduled to deploy today and introduce a new 8 vs 8 PvP game with Assault, a new (limited) Fast Travel system, the serendipity system and more. Patch notes for the update are available on the Fallen Earth website.
Icarus Studios and AFK Interactive have also launched a new mobile companion app for Fallen Earth. The Fallen Earth Companion App is available on iPhone and Android devices and will allow players real-time access to the live game server for limited features such as checking mail, viewing auctions and to chat. The app is available at the price of $1.99 on the iPhone and Android devices. A Blackberry app will be available at a later date for $2.99. You can learn more about the app on the official FAQ.
