Shadows of Stormreach: Chapter Four
Eberron creator, Keith Baker, has given us Chapter Four of his story
written just for Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach!
Shadow could sense the presence of the trap as the door
opened. Magical
glyphs gave off a certain resonancea tingle one felt in the spirit as
much as in the nerves. Shadow had worked hard to develop this second
sense, and it had saved her life in the past. Given a minute, she could
use her tools to deactivate the glyph, allowing her friends to pass
unharmed. But Spike had other ideas. As soon as the door opened, he
leaped over Shadow and into the small passage. The gems embedded into
his armor glowed, a reflection of his fervor. If there was danger, he
would meet it head on.
