FoD for thought...
Pacific Epoch is reporting rumors that Object Software, makers of Fate of Dragon Online, is reducing FoD operating staff via layoffs.
Additional staff will be diverted to the team developing 2007 MMO World of Qin 3. The changes were made due of FoD's poor performance, which is probably due in some degree to the fact that no one in the Western Hemisphere has heard of FoD Online. Well, at least we haven't.
All staff members responsible for FOD Online distribution have been laid off and five or six employees from the game's operations and maintenance departments have also been laid off. FOD Online is a 3D MMORPG developed by Object Software. An Object Software spokesperson confirmed the news and said Object Software will focus on developing the online game World of Qin 3.
