Funcom has announced two new locations for their conspiracy-based MMOG, The Secret World (TSW). The haunting evil that lurks beneath Kingsmouths Accursed Woods stirs once more. This weeks reveal serves up some haunting details about the evil that has called the woods home for thousands of years. Laying, sleeping and only waking when it was time to feed.
But its not all gloom, doom and ancient evils. Another location that weve been hearing about in several updates and TSW lore has also been revealed. Innsmouth Academy has its own new section. But dont let this seemingly harmless prep school fool you. Its in fact a training ground for future Illuminati. The school has been rebuilt several times over the last century following a series of disasters that include but arent necessarily limited to a fire, earthquake and opening of a dimensional portal. Hey, everyone needs a hobby.
